I'm probably the worst person to comment since i do not have an Xbox controller, or played crash bandicoot before, all i can give are my observations playing with mouse and keyboard

Camera needs work, it should not be passing through the walls. I've made a TPV cam before, all you have to do is shoot a ray from the player, and reposition the camera based on the ray hit point of the camera if the ray hits a wall.

The general area of what i assume is ice seems to mess with the player state. I'm stuck in free fall according to the animation, even when I'm on a pillar, and left unable to jump until I move off the general area of ice. If this is a quirk of the game then nevermind, although i do not see a purpose in such an unclear obstacle

The apples are really cumbersome to grab. again if this is a quirk of the game then nevermind, although again i don't see the purpose of such a quirk.

I got hit by a nitro box in the area with many nitro boxes and got a light blue screen. does the blue screen mean that i lost? is there a definite end goal in this level?

Hello there poppydephary dont be daft! you are not the worst to comment. infact you are the first :P yes this demo is like an alpha of the game and i took one of the levels out and did a quick demo. im from youtube you see. im quite known there for crash bandicoot fangames. check me out sometime. there are many bugs but the game is easy enough to play. however. you CAN play without an xbox controller but unfortunately. camera is stuck in 1 precision making the game very difficult the apples should be easy enough to grab. i will try and make them better to grab the next time :) if u get the blue screen u are DED lol. however just refresh the page and the loading screen will be back so you can play again. i hope this helps btw were trying to get some death animations so look out for future updates. my youtube is Keon McKeon -head of tp games. THANK YOU! :) - kee

You will have to hide the cursor for this game to be playable. There is a default Unity setting for that which can be toggled in script, although you would have to include a way for the player to unlock the cursor.

The camera feels far too close to the ground

Adjustable cursor sensitivity is also a must. You might also want to play around with different camera positions relative to the player's collision to get the "feel" of turning right. right now it is rather disorienting. I'm feeling as sick as i was moveming in 3D revamp of Myst.

I hope you were not expecting a good score. For a test this is fine, but it is merely a test.

The platform of the midair boxes is not prominent enough, and looks like the shadow of the box

The collision of the boxes is very unclear. Sometimes the game registers a hit even when the chicken is about 1 box distance away from the actual box graphic, be it behind or in-front.

The background scrolls faster than the obstacles which doesn't make sense. If the depth difference between the background and obstacles is inconsequential, the background should move at the same speed as the obstacles. If the depth difference between the background and obstacles is significant, it should move slower, not faster, than the obstacles.

The background is too prominent, its color saturation is too similar to the obstacles.

Seems her desires weren't deep enough

This is great.

Probably not your intention(or if it is, even better), but the purple eyes on Lois makes me think shes under the control or influence of Star Saphire, which could lead to some interesting situations.

That wasn't our intention, but you're right that does lead to somewhere interesting
